Truly beautiful with water gardens, fountains, courtyards, mosaics and stunning architecture.  Incredibly well preserved and accessible albeit located on a hill so quite physically challenging for those with disabilities.  parking is locally available and close to the site and the guided tours are well worth considering as there is so much history.   Takes a minimum of 3-4 hours to enjoy fully so plan a full day and enjoy some lunch break in-between.   Mid summer can be very hot and there is limited shade so be sure to use sunblock and consider taking a parasol.

Quite beautiful gardens and impressive buildings. In summer it can be extremely hot due to the hot stone everywhere. We measured over 40 Celsius.
The place itself was great, but because of its age it is a very well presented ruin in many areas. After two hours of climbing towers and several other buildings, we paid our dues to the sun god and moved to an air-conditioned venue in the old part of the city.
However, I'll be back in autumn or spring sometime to complete the course.

Absolutely incredible and a must visit for anyone in Granada and beyond.

Book the tickets in advance and bring your passports, as they're tied to your tickets. There are two main paths up and two entrances and I'd recommend trying both - they offer great views of the surrounding area and are quite unique in their own right.

Prepare to walk and climb steps - a lot. Bring a water bottle if visiting during the heat of the summer, there are several places to refill it. We took our time and spent around 6 hours with the audio tour, but you could easily spend more or less depending on what's of specific interest to you.

As most people said, it's small but still cool to see how people back in the day took a bath.

Small complex showing Moorish baths. It is a 15 minute visit but curious. If you buy it with the Allambra ticket all of these small attractions close by cost very little

El Bañuelo - Granada, Spain 🇪🇸 -
11th century public hamam(bath) is one of the  best preserved buildings in the Spain and the oldest building in the city of Granada located on Daro River that still flows (last picture).
Previously known as 'Hamam-al-Yawza' during Muslim rule, the bathhouse has cold, warm & hot rooms in sequence with star shaped holes in ceiling for the daylight to enter & steam to escape the hamam. I was truly mesmerised during the visit.

El Bañuelo

INCREDIBLE views of the Alhambra and Granada. Good service, okay food and sadly not a lot of vegan options and no option to take your desert to go. One of the few options with a terrace on a Monday. Pricey in comparison to other places (then again, not the same view). Worth a visit especially for a drink in my opinion.

They close at 10pm but don't rush you so you have time to eat and drink up after this time.

It's extremely well priced and won't break the bank for an easy 5 star ⭐ restaurant.

This place is great to have drinks on an outdoor patio overlooking the Alhambra. You’re really paying for the view, not sure how the food is but happy with the wine we ordered. We stayed long enough to see the moon rise and it was breathtaking. So def make this a stop on your trip!

Amazing tomato salad and the salmon was great. Pitifully did not make picture.
The calamar national my girlfriend has was even better.
A go to place and really good price.

Great place to bring visitors, buy fresh produce or have a glass of wine and a snack.. right on top of the best situated underground parking in Granada city center.

An excellent place to eat authentic, exquisite and fresh food in Granada, especially fish and seafood. The people there are very nice, friendly and passionate about their products and cuisine. I really loved that place. I would highly recommend. ❤️

Mercado de San Agustín

A great view of the Alhambra over the valley. If you don't want the uphill walk just take the C31 or C32 bus €1.40 for 60 minutes use. A crowded place but gives a good view with the mountains around and the contrast of the tiled roofs of the houses.

Beautiful view of Alhambra and Granada. We were able to make the trek up the hill right before sunset. There were quite a few people but we were able to convince the person at the Mosque to let us into their courtyard to take some pictures. This was much less busy than the main viewing point. We then went over to the main viewing point to catch the remainder of the sunset which was amazing

Beautiful location and very nice place to see Alhambra place. I highly recommend visiting this place before the sunset 🌅 it’s a true beauty and it take your breath. Also there are multiple restaurants and cafes around that you can enjoy while you are up the hill 👌
